The Town Hall

Elegance and glamour to take your breath away

The Town Hall is a jewel in Colchester’s crown. From its prominent town centre location, this magnificent Baroque structure with its Victorian tower and statue of St Helena, Colchester’s patron saint, dominates the town.

Bursting with old-fashioned glamour, the Town Hall’s opulent interiors are fully licenced for ceremonies and receptions, offering style and grandeur for all occasions.

Our outstanding function rooms are all beautifully decorated with ornate and original features such as stained-glass windows, oil paintings and murals, and are still used for their original purpose today including Mayoral and Civic events.

The architecture and surroundings are unlike anything else you will see in the area and we would love to help you plan a celebration to remember.
